Hands on Atlanta has touch so many already. This program for volunteering is great. Their schedule is very flexible and they work in many different communities.
This is an overseas' program that lets you make a difference on worldwide level. This program is not for everyone, but most that have done it, loved it. This is a goverment ran volunteer program.
Redcross saves lives everyday with blood drives, and disaster recover programs. Volunteering with the RedCross is great no matter where a person lives. Don't have the time to Volunteer, Save a life and donate blood.

Americorps is great for students and the community. An individual can help pay their way through college and give back to a local community at the same time. Many students are in this program and give it great reveiws.
Adopt-a-highway is great way to clean up the streets. Volunteers are elected to adopt part of a road or highway and pick up the trash. This service is offered in most states.
