College Resources
College is vital for success, it does not guarantee success, but college gives everyone a better chance. Many reasons people feel that they cannot go to college is because of the cost. However, there is a good chance they could go for free! MyOriginalExpression would like to share the resources to get you started.

This is the best place to start for student aid. This program is a grant and if an individual is approved, they do not have to pay                                                           this back after completing their degree.College for free!

In the state of Geogia, they have a lottery program called Hope. The hope grant is an educational program that will pay for anyone with a GED/High School diploma to get certified in a trade. The hope scholarship will pay for a BS degree. There are many programs in different states like this one.

If your just looking for general information on college this is it. Planning and why everyone should go. They offer some student aid information too. This site is great to get an idea of what steps to take.

Knowledge about the school is another main focus for college. The application cost and how many students get accepted are very important things to know about the school you are applying. This site                                               offers' all kind of information on the colleges a person might be                                               considering.

Guide to College!

The resource sites are great and can get anyone started. Here is a general idea of what someone might want to consider as a plan of action.

  1. Think about where you want to attend college
  2. Choose the school you want to attend in that area (CollegeBoard site)
  3. Apply
  4. After getting accepted fill out the financial aid (College for Free!)
  5. Make sure you meet all the deadlines for when you want to start

This is the general way for getting started.

*Note*- No one expects to drop-out of school, but if for some reason, you have to drop out, make sure to file for a hardship. When you decide to return to school you are still able to get financial aid. Many students just drop when facing hardship and do not let the school know about anything. When it comes time to return to school the students will not get financial aid. Please keep this in mind just in case.
